The commonly used standards of spiral steel pipe are generally divided into: SY/T5037-2000 (industry standard, also known as spiral submerged arc welded steel pipe for common fluid transmission pipeline), GB/T9711.1-1997 (national standard, also known as technical conditions for delivery of pipelines in oil and gas industry Part I: Grade A steel pipe (strictly required GB/T9711.2 B pipe and GB/T9711.3 C pipe), API-5L (American Petroleum Association standard). SY/T5040-92 (spiral submerged arc welded pipe for pile) is a spiral submerged arc welded pipe (SY5036-83), which is made of hot rolled steel strip coil and is often spirally formed at high temperature. It is welded by double-sided submerged arc welding (DSAW) for pressure fluid transmission. Steel pipe has strong pressure bearing capacity and good welding performance.
